How to Take an Oil Sample Using a Vacuum Sampling Pump
Vacuum sampling pumps provide a simple way to collect oil from non-pressurised systems such as reservoirs, gearboxes and other accessible lubrication compartments. Following a consistent sampling procedure helps reduce contamination and makes it easier to obtain reliable samples for laboratory analysis.

Vacuum sampling pumps are intended for suitable non-pressurised sampling applications. Do not use a vacuum pump directly on a pressurised system. Where equipment operates under pressure, use an appropriate sampling valve or approved sampling method.
