Single Unit High Viscosity Oil Filtration System

This unit was developed to filter gearbox oils in Wind Turbines. The unit is capable of providing filtration on high viscosity oils up to 600 grade and being only 24Kg are ideal to filter oils in difficult to access areas such as Wind Turbines. These filter rigs are fitted with a Haight 1U gear pump to allow for a slow steady flow of oil to be pushed through the filter cartridge.

Filtration

Oil - This unit is suitable to filter oils up to 600 grade viscosity. For filtering oils the 1888SH filter cartridges should be used. For polishing oils the 2088CPS filters should be used. These filters can remove up up 2Kg or dirt and 1 litre of water before requiring replacement.

Diesel - This unit is fine for filtering diesel fuel. However as it is fitted with a Haight 1U gear pump it would have a slow flow rate and other filtration systems would be a better selection for diesel.

Coolants & Glycols - These can be filtered in this unit however you MUST use the 2088PP or 2088PP6 filter cartridges as these DO NOT ABSORB WATER making them ideal for coolant filtration and polishing. Again as it is fitted with a Haight 1U gear pump it would have a slow flow rate and other filtration systems would be a better selection for coolants.

This system is fitted with a Haight 1U gear pump to allow for a slow steady filtration of oil up to 600 grade. These units come fitted with the 1888SH filters each of these filters is capable of removing up to 2Kg of particulate and up to 1 litre of water contamination from oils. Also being a Lightweight Filtration System this filter unit can easily be carried to the top of turbines to provide filtration.
